The Cardiac Rhythm Management EMEA Business Unit is recruiting a Digital Transformation Marketing Manager to accelerate Abbott’s presence in digital health service and solutions as a growth engine. This position will be based out of our EMEA HQ in Brussels, Zaventem, with up to 40% travel in the EMEA region. Candidates willing to relocate will be at an advantage.

The role

The EMEA Digital Transformation Marketing Manager will be a key contributor to accelerate Abbott’s presence in digital health service and solutions as a growth engine.

The responsibilities will focus on driving development and implementation of new business models and services, through partnering with customers and technology partners to deliver value added solutions to customers and patients, improve therapy efficiencies and leverage patient engagement. In addition, a close cooperation with Abbott’s Cardiac Rhythm Management Global Marketing and Global Product Development groups will be required.

The EMEA Digital Transformation Marketing Manager has a vocation to play a critical role in redesigning the patient pathway and reimagining customer and patient experiences prior, during and after implant, which will lead to new business models and revenue streams, through smart and connected products and services.

The role is critical to implementing Abbott’s Connected Body vision and strategy into the CRM portfolio.

This is a newly created position reporting to the EMEA Marketing and Education Director in the Abbott CRM Division.

Your profile

As a Senior member of the EMEA Marketing organization, you will have a solid experience in creating value and growing businesses. You are an influencer with strong analytical and people skills.

You have a track record of:

  • Developing and managing relationships at Executive level
  • Acting and thinking as an entrepreneur
  • Creating client value through technology and business innovation and delivery across functions and geographies.
  • Being a thought leader and trusted advisor: as the Champion of a compelling vision and strategy, advising in the high-level technology roadmap across the entire product and solution lifecycle
  • You have a solid experience in software and service development based on open source as well as proprietary interfaces, combined with a good understanding of hardware of technology products.
  • You have subject matter expertise in Machine Learning, NLP based User Interface in tight compliance with Data Protection regulations.
  • You are Customer Focused and have demonstrated the ability to Think Big.
  • Experience and Education

  • Master of Science (M.Sc.) or equivalent work experience.
  • Fluent in English
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in working in innovative environments and/or emerging technologies
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in a similar position
  • Domain knowledge in High Tech is a must, Medical Device experience is an asset but not a requirement, but must have experience in large multinational companies as well as smaller str (portfolio management migration strategies, training and enablement programs)
