Description:We are currently looking for Services Engineer who can provide support to the EU Space Programmes such as Galileo, EGNOS, GOVSATCOM or Copernicus missions. These positions are based in the following locations, with the possibility to be remotely based: Toulouse, France Prague, Czech Republic Brussels, Belgium The European GNSS Agency (GSA) is responsible for operations, service provision, security and market development for the European Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) EGNOS and Galileo. By creating a new generation of GNSS, Europe is laying the foundation for the development of new high-tech industry, leading to job creation and economic growth. These flagship European space programmes, which embody what can be achieved when Europe works together, are already bringing real benefits to people and business in Europe and around the world. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include: Contribute to the preparation of the service evolution plan integrating the system evolution plan, the respective service roadmaps, the security risk treatment plans and other inputs and including elements of schedule, cost, risk, performance. Support the organization and execution of the Service Exploitation Reviews (biannual review on the delivered service provision quality) and for the reviews related with the different services evolutions (new Service Concept Review, Service Consolidation Review, Service Validation Review). Support implementation of exploitation change control boards (CCB) structure. Preparation, review and administration of change requests, including the participation to the relevant CCB and the Engineering Board as needed. Analysis of the services provision changes, services roll-out implementation of the new system releases, the services provision risks and the contracts change proposals. Participate to boards, reviews and progress meetings dealing with service management, provision, exploitation and validation. Support the monitoring, coordination, control and reporting on the Programmes activities. Support the configuration management and ensure respect of the exploitation obligations defined in the CA and PMP (with EC). Support to the coordination baseline documentation. Contribute to the monitoring and supervision of Services KPIs, incidents, user requests and related Service Communications. Mission and Service Definition Support, including for implementation of EU sectorial policies. Support to International cooperation, International Committees, including for Search and Rescue and signal/frequency coordination. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory: Masters Degree in Aerospace, Engineering or a relevant technical domain A minimum of 5 years of experience working performing the above tasks mentioned. Knowledge and/or experience of space system engineering. Excellent command of both written and spoken English. Organised, dynamic and proactive. Security clearance (EU Secret) will be necessary, therefore only nationals of the EU countries will be considered for this role. Ability to travel on missions when needed to other locations.
