Amazon EU Reverse Logistics Operations run over 15 Customer Return Operation Centres across EU. As a member of the EU Reverse Logistics Operations team, the EU ReLo Program Manager leads Operations teams in three key areas of focus: Customer Experience, Asset Recovery and Process Compliance. The Program Manager fills the Subject Matter Expert role for some of the crucial processes, product segments, and metric tools. He/she initiates and manages cross-functional, cross-departmental and international projects and improvement programs. Additionally, the Program Manager independently extracts data and analyzes KPI performance, identifying opportunities for process improvement or defect elimination and sharing best practices across the region which allows to achieve process optimization, including new process definition (either for specific product segments, or overall). The Program Manager creates new metric tools, pilots them with Operations partners, and rolls them out across all EU Return Centers. Key metric tools cover all Reverse Logistics KPIs on EU Program level as well as Operational level. The role will include 20-30% of business travel, mostly across EU with a start date of mid April 2021. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS You hold a degree in engineering, logistics, business administration, or in a related field You have experience in managing projects and/or programs Expert / advanced skills in business analytics and data mining Proficient with SQL/MySQL and Tableau You have a sincere bias for action and you are passionate about achieving results and driving quality through tools and process improvement You have the ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously You possess the ability to manage detail and to analytically identify root cause based on data and process observation. Demonstrate effective problem-solving and analytical capability You have technical expertise and solution-oriented approach for systems and processes Proficient in standard computer tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word) Required good communication skills in English, both verbal and written You are ready and capable of working efficiently in a distributed team Willing to travel when required Ability to Deep Dive and develop innovative ideas for process challenges You are competent in two or more production or supply chain areas, with an impressive track-record in a similar fast-paced logistics, distribution, manufacturing or engineering environment Proven ability to influence others without having positional authority PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Track record in Program / Project Management role Masters degree or MBA Experience in Reverse Logistics Operations Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies Fluency in any of the following languages: Slovak or Czech, Polish, Spanish Experience leading, tea...
