We currently are looking for a Senior Corporate Communications Specialist , to join our team based in Diegem, Belgium. In this role you will report to the Head of Corporate Communications (Europe and Africa)
J ob P urpose
This position reports to the Head of Corporate Communications (Europe and Africa) and is a key role within the Corporate Communications team. The incumbent will be responsible for communications that support Air Products’ base business and key company growth areas - Hydrogen for Mobility (H2FM) and Energy Transition (ET) - in the Northern Continent. The individual will also work with other EU sub-regions and the global H2FM team to ensure the coordination and alignment of all H2FM communication activities underneath the corporate umbrella.
As Senior Corporate Communications Specialist you will,

  • Support the promotion and management of the Air Products brand to create positive differentiation in the marketplace and support our growth, customer engagement and talent attraction activities.
  • Create, implement, manage and evaluate a proactive corporate and trade media relations strategy in the Northern Continent, with an emphasis on H2FM and Energy Transition, in addition to the base Industrial Gas business.
  • Plan, execute and evaluate the company’s country-specific, local stakeholder engagement activities to support our business activities and communications programmes. Working closely with Government Relations, HR and other business contacts as appropriate.
  • Identify, plan and deliver inspiring and informative integrated communications for internal stakeholders (including sub-regional leadership) using existing and new channels to build engagement. Ensure metrics are identified and measured in-line with business expectations and needs
  • Protect Air Products company reputation by working closely with the business and Head of Corporate Communications, to manage day-to-day crisis’ and issues.
  • Play an active role in EU crisis preparedness including the planning and delivery of a crisis media training programme.
  • Ensure a creative, engaging content strategy to promote Air Products and drive audience participation (as culturally appropriate) across our social media and other digital communications channels in the sub-region.
  • Support the corporate communications team by taking a share of ownership on the many items that emerge day-to-day and as part of global department initiatives.
