A Sales Account Manager at Esko is an exciting role, where you will be working with a full range of products in the Label, Pack, Pre-media and Tradeshop environment. You will guide your customers from their current state to the future of automation, as well as maintain and expand the quality of relationships between customers and Esko to increase maintenance contracts. Establish a transparent cooperation with existing and potential new partners who are reselling our solutions and services in the respective market.

Main responsibilities and key activities

  • Planning – Create a heat map of your assigned territory or region, identify key customers, existing business as well as new prospects. Establish good business contacts and generate opportunities and leads. Optimize his/her organization on Benelux to be successful.
  • Being “Customer oriented” - Proactive and strategic thinker who first understands the business and customer needs, followed by working together as a team with a Pre-Sales Solution Architect to define a solution and present it value-based to the C-Level of the customer.
  • Delivering - Implement the go-to-market strategy for new products and solutions in your market. Sell Esko portfolio, with focus towards value selling to customers with a focused approach towards software and hardware (SW: automation solutions & collaborative platforms / HW: for Flexo including the CDI imager & XPS exposure unit). Execute on sales to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management - Managing existing accounts in the packaging markets including trade shops and pre-media companies. Maintain relationships with our resellers and partners.
  • Internal Relationship Building - Provide market intelligence and feedback on competitors' developments, pricing & position in the respective segments to enable appropriate marketing plans to be developed for driving growth.
  • Travel – up to 70% of the time

  • Qualifications and professional knowledge

  • 5 years hands-on sales experience in a high-tech B2B environment/ in digital printing/ packaging or commercial solutions/ IT. You have practical experience with direct and indirect sales channels
  • Broad understanding of Software and IT applications coming along with excellent time and territory management habits
  • Consultative way of selling with a Value selling approach (ROI)
  • Knowledge about the packaging industry, understanding of reprographics and packaging printing and its actors
  • A flexible attitude to work, the willingness to travel for 70%
  • Dutch as mother language, and proficient in English and French.
