    Overview

    Role Summary

    We are seeking a Sales Executive to enhance our Sales division in Belgium. In this position, you will manage accounts within the Utilities sector, focusing on driving new business growth in your designated area while collaborating with teams to support clients on various topics, including Energy Forecasting, Asset & Grid Performance, and Procurement Integrity.

    The ideal candidate is customer-focused, eager to leverage our 40 years of analytics expertise, and passionate about building genuine relationships with clients. You will be instrumental in addressing client challenges and promoting our premium software products, solutions, and services.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve software revenue targets and manage business objectives effectively.
  • Grow and maintain a portfolio of existing accounts in the Utilities sector.
  • Identify and develop strategies for potential growth areas and execute plans accordingly.
  • Generate new business through strategic selling and nurturing customer relationships.
  • Market software, solutions, and services to both current and prospective clients; collaborate with other teams to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Navigate complex sales scenarios, including implementation strategies that involve coordination of internal and external resources.
  • Prepare standard quotes and proposals; collaborate with various departments to finalize contracts and establish service delivery timelines.
  • Engage with clients to monitor satisfaction and uncover additional revenue opportunities.
  • Participate in external networking events to enhance industry knowledge and expand your professional network.
  • Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in selling complex software solutions to business leaders and IT decision-makers.
  • Expertise in identifying and addressing business challenges across the Utilities value chain.
  • Demonstrated ability in account mapping and navigating complex ecosystems.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess territory dynamics and formulate effective sales strategies; adept at communicating technical and business concepts relevant to SAS applications and user needs; capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in English and either French or Dutch; fluency in all three languages is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with analytics solutions and/or Cloud services is preferred but not mandatory.
