    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Automatic Distribution Center in Ninove.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of the material handling installations, minimizing installation downtime, and collaborating with colleagues to implement continuous improvements in operations.

    This role is part of a large team working in a KPI-driven environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure the availability of material handling installations
    • Minimize installation downtime
    • Develop an action plan with colleagues to ensure proper installation functioning
    • Solve electrical and mechanical issues according to Dematic standards
    • Utilize PC, software tools (DIQ, MS Office, CMMS, technical programming software)
    • Read and interpret electrical and/or mechanical drawings
    • Use specialized tools for troubleshooting
    • Perform technical cleaning
    • Store removed products in designated areas
    • Guide technical operators
    • Adhere to safety regulations

    Requirements

    • Knowledge and experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance
    • Able to read and interpret technical drawings
    • Familiarity with PC and software tools (DIQ, MS Office, CMMS, technical programming software)
    • Ability to work effectively in a team
    • Good communication skills; Dutch or English language proficiency on the workfloor
    • Attention to detail
    • Commitment to safety regulations

    Education and Experience

    • Tech degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
    • Experience in maintaining material handling installations
