A Fairytale Soaking Up Reality

She was old. Her age was kept a secret. So truly old. Her legs were slow. Her skin felt like an old New York Times newspaper. Her gracious memories were fading away. Sometimes one of these were triggered and then precious moments in time were restored. Her life had been a fairytale. Yet, her life had also soaked up reality. Sometimes she still restored his voice. Elegant and strong. Passionate and caring. No other voice ever expressed the same humongous vibration. She had been head over heels in love when she met him. She never lost that fire. It was still burning till now.

He was dark grey. His age was no longer an issue. He stopped counting the years. His memory had many holes but sometimes the emptiness was refilled with love and he could go back to what once touched his heart and soul deeply. Her voice made him smile from within. He had been so in love when he laid his eyes on her. She was a match made in heaven. No other could ever approach that. She was special and full of fire. He never lost that fire for her. The flames were still visible for an eye that truly cared.

She was told as a little girl that fairytales did not exist. So she never looked for one. But here is how the story goes. If you are not looking for it, it just happens. As if the universe already knows what is part of the bigger plan. So she did met the love of her life and life was easy. Before she met him. When she was with him. Always and forever. He loved her deeper than the deepest ocean and her heart expanded. He was brought up in a family with pain and hardship but he loved her in a way that made all stars shine more and more. 

What made their love so special, was that they instantly opened the doors of their heart to each other. They were brave enough to let the other in their heart chamber. Sometimes there was chaos but each time they supported each other. Their light and dark days were still one celebration. Each feeling therefore had a special meaning into their soul history. A museum of wholehearted true feelings could be built by it all. Every tear, every smile was stored in boxes of gold. Nobody had the keys. Their love was the password.

In a  corner of the room their was a book of love. Their names were on the first page. Heavenly decorated with bright letters. He touched the cover with deep love and she felt his touch. They would forever be connected in their souls. Carrying each other till the end of time. A subtle weight. Like the feather that moves on the endless ocean. Always getting closer to the shore of unbridled love. They would always find each other back. In all lifetimes. They were really in love and no circumstance or person could ever separate them. It was written in the stars and the stars always tell the truth.
