Breathing The Spirit Of Life.

Breathing The Spirit Of Life.

The white room in the hospital became a world of wonder on its own. The white curtains were slowly moving. Timeless dancing. Never seen before. The warm sun entered the room. With courage and unconditional love. The light found them together. Delighted to see them. Touched their skin to ensure it was all true. Sensuous feeling. Divine curiosity. The loyal monitoring device kept an eye on them. Two souls were breathing. Together as one. He hold her hand. Fingers softly mingled. Still in their unconscious state. Peaceful scene. He was tall and beautiful. She was elegant and fine. They were such a magnificent couple. The monitoring device felt so happy for them. It dreamed a bit. No too long, its duty remained a theme. The white walls witnessed a magic process unfolding it in own terms. The spirit of life had arrived.

She was pale, he was white. His dark hair on the pillow reached for her long shiny hair. Almost there. They were longing for each other more and more. Each time the pillow moved by coincidence, they tried to feel the sensuation of their sleek hair. If they could move their hands now, they certainly would go further. Hands discovering soft textures and much more. Unfortunately they could not. They had to surrender to the moment. The bed was patient. Two souls united. Light carriage. In the corner of the room a bee had found a place to stay for a while. Exploring the environment. With small eyes. The dust came down as snow flakes but reduced in size. The sun made it much more clear now. The bee watched it all like a movie. No thoughts in mind, the bee took it as it came. Natural being.

It closed its eyes. To rest with the precious souls. The monitoring device was the guide. She was wearing a beautiful sleeping dress. Matched with his pyjamas. Colors aligned. Luxurious design. The smell of fresh flowers reached their noses. The nurse had brought flowers an hour ago. It was a present from the friend. A card attached. Wishing her well. Sending her his love. Handwritten with utmost care. The bee discovered the flowers and decided to land on them. Wings moving, a slow easy flight towards its destination. It took some seconds to bridge the time in between. Searching for nectar. Finding more than enough. It was delighted. This room had magic. It was all worthwhile to visit it. Carefully taking everything it needed. Not more.

Sounds in the corridor. Heavy. No high-heel shoes. Voices talking. The bee was not impressed and continued its mission. Only nectar on its mind. The door opened. The nurse and the doctor entered the room. They watched with their own eyes how the colors of the room had transformed from white into gold. They would keep the experience within closed doors. When they left the room they said nothing. The experience was washed away the moment they closed the door. Inside they had felt better than ever before. The impact of taking a delightful and refreshing shower after a warm summer day. Renewed and completely set free. Feeling life running through their veins. The old had been removed for once and for all. The nurse and the doctor were smiling the rest of the day. They forgot why but did it anyway. Colleagues noticed it.

Inside the room she smiled. He responded with another smile. The bee decided to leave to another location. The window was still open. Steering its wings. It was gone. The journey continued. The adventure just began. Healthy wings, stronger than ever. The room was full of happy vibes, even though they were still in another world. They were together, that is what mattered. Their love was incredibly strong. The green field with red flowers gave birth to two white masks. Looking at the sky. Eyes were invisible. To see more. The clouds were swimming and thriving. The masks said nothing. A matter of not spoiling the unique experience. The red flowers were reaching to the sun. The sun gave them more love. They were grateful and said thank you by opening their sweet petals.

The two masks were free. They had no worries on their mind. They were simply watching every move that nature presented. Without any judgment. Thankful for all that happened. Even for the smallest impact. The scent of the flowers, the clouds that were moving and building all kinds of shapes, the birds that sang their most stunning song and the warmth of the sun. The golden room was preparing for another chapter to come. She was breathing more slowly. He followed her feminine rhythm. Just like that. The monitoring device was counting. Their heartbeats. Checking if everything was still fine. Then it let go and had faith in the outcome. A deep peace rolled in. The time left the room. No ticking clock. Endless space for more wonders. She moved closer to him in her dreams. He smiled.

''The white room in the hospital became a world of wonder on its own.'' how true this is . Once stranded you tend to scrutinize your environment with a renewed attention to detail, there is often I was about to say always a love and hate relationship you often get wary of the familiarity with which you own the surroundings yet you long for a quick departure and never see them again, now you have masterfully conveyed the soothing element in your narrative :-) :-)
