Cat & Mouse Games

Cat Cobald was so confident. His business figures were excellent. He was the best in all his undertakings. Yet, his ego was his soulmate. Always rising. Always on top. Nobody was as good as he was. Nobody would ever be. In the club where he was active, he saw a lot of weak beings. He tolerated them. Nothing more. Not really needed them. And if he did, he would never admit it. Openly. Cat Cobald had it all. At least he thought he had. Whenever Cobald saw a competitor, his response was to put him or her down. Slowly but surely. 

Snowgrey, the so called average mouse entered the club one day. Observed the environment with calmness and noticed soon enough that cat Cobald was rather mean. Was it really necessary that Cobald got rid of almost all new members of the club? His approach was always the same. He started to talk to others about others. Behind their back. Behind walls. And each time someone was listening. Carefully. Everyone lost his or her shining appearance. As soon as they were discussed by the master cat. The plan was to demonstrate that the new ones had no value. At all.

The young mouse captured the essence. In a nutshell. Yes, Cobald was truly an expert in his field. But by making others look like hell, Cobald thought he could win the game. He continued to harm others. As if that was the most funny thing to do. Who was laughing? One by one the new members lost their interest to shine. Cobald said something to them that got under their skin. Snowgrey saw the mechanism of the game and decided to play the game to win the game. The real game. For sure.

A new divine project started and Cobald and Snowgrey had to work together. A mirror added to the room. Each time Cobald acted as a fool towards a new club member, his bad behavior got reflected back to him. Snowgrey triggered Cobald, more and more. Cobald showed his bad sides. Discussions closed and opened. Cobald noted down his terrible plans. He wanted to have the award of top member. His ego demanded it. A matter of time. Snowgrey acted as an innocent sheep. 

Secretly this was the start of cat and mouse games. The button pressed. On. Snowgrey used his intelligence. Small design but functioning as a genius. The cat felt big and beautiful. He knew it all. Each time Snowgrey came up with a great idea, Cobald made him feel small. Snowgrey had to bend and obey. No voice required. Cobald's world was increasing. His upper level club members were about to give him more funds and blessings. But the fake side of Cobad got reflected more and more as a dark shadow.

The new members left the club one by one, felt unappreciated, left in the cold. No strengths to hold on to. No dance. No sun. Lots of pain and suffering. Such a shame. Cobald thought that he belonged to the winners. And the winner takes it all. The moment he wanted to make Snowgrey feel worthless, was the moment where the mirror actively sent all awful data to Cobald. Like pieces of glass. Cutting deep. Severe wounds. Cobald started to scream. Eyes full of tears. No confidence left. Snowgrey saw the process and was deeply satisfied. They say that cat and mouse games still occur, but frankly speaking, they lost all power. Since the mirror brought it into the concious side of life. Small shapes, big potential. Watch it now. The ego gone.
