Eleven O'Clock

The wind finally found peace. It gave up fighting against the waves. The ocean always wins. Silence all over the region. The only sound came from above. A flock of birds flying over. They know exactly where they need to be. Their destination is arranged by the divine. No planning involved, they just do it. Action is the keyword to fly forward. Their wings are strong and they almost never get tired. And when they do, the whole community takes a break. The ocean surrenders. Anything can happen from here. Movements. Unknown energy. The sky is light blue. The clouds relax and rest. It is wonderful to be among the clouds.

She is sitting on a rock and has an outstanding overview. She is grateful to witness this natural beauty. The landscape is mesmerizing. She escaped the city. It was a long drive to this place. But somehow she knew she had to be here. The love note mentioned this place. Her curiosity was triggered. The decision was made in the blink of an eye. She was not afraid. A quick glanse at her mobile phone. No messages. No phone calls. Internet is blocked in this location. Almost eleven o'clock. She must have slept for hours. Travelling can be exhausting. But now she feels fit. Her eyes are observing the landscape.

She is now very nearby the hotel. A small building with an extraordinary view. It would take her one more hour to get there. The water bottle is almost empty. A piece of chocolate is left untouched. It will not melt, the temperature is perfect. She turns because she hears a noise behind her. She tought she would be all alone here. A shadow is reflected. She looks again with eyes wide open. She feels the presence of another being. Then he calls her name. She gets goose bumps. This voice. Tender. Loving. So affectionate. The shadow approaches. She senses it. 'Don't be scared', a voice whispers, 'it's eleven o'clock, you are expected for dinner'. The shadow touches her hand gently and she walks hand in hand with him to the hotel. No words can describe what she feels inside but she has faith that she is in good hands.
