Eyes Like Hazelnuts

The photographer was working in his dark room. All by himself. He kind of liked this solitude. Perfect to focus on his passion and art. The house witnessed each one of his gestures and sounds. The walls kept the secret safe. The house loved his way of living. One day, maybe it could become like him. A human expressing his devotation to life. The man was gorgeous and attractive. Yet, he was single since years, many years. Single and happy. Relationships were not his cup of coffee. He did not mind, as he did not know how it felt to be madly in love.

One of his pictures that morning demanded his attention. A sudden move. Black and white patterns. A woman looked into the camera. His camera. A model. Nothing more than that. But of course with the glow that only a model has. And eyes like hazelnuts. She was beautiful. He admitted. The picture suddenly received more light. He had to sit down for a while. The chair was ready to receive his presence. The picture continued to trigger him. He closed his eyes and received mysterious images. All related to this model. He could read her life story. With no gaps.

The dark room turned into a cinema. A large screen on the walls. He watched the images rolling onto the screen like ocean waves. She seemed to be wise, loving and kind. Traits that are so important to a human's soul and heart. A man called her and mentioned his name. He saw how she stopped walking. Her eyes caught fire. She felt very attracted to this man. A blessing for life. He felt like an intrudor, to have access to all this sudden information. About to close his eyes again, out of respect for this character.

Luckily he did not. The mobile Phone showed a picture. He could not believe it at first glance. The man looked so similar to him. That wrinkle, those cheek bones, that silky hair. He had to accept the facts. Some trick of the mind gave him an opening to another world, where nothing was impossible. He wanted to know the rest of the story. But the screen froze and paused for a while. His heart was beating faster. He felt special. With his hand he touched his hair. Yes, it was him, his hair felt so smooth and silky.

The movie knew exactly where to begin again. He was invited to live the story. He accepted the calling and jumped into the movie. She asked him when they could meet. She wanted to do a fotoshooting. He took a deep breath and used his most loving words to tell her that he was ready to meet her that afternoon. A a little school boy that just won the attention of his favorite teacher, his lungs opened up to let him sing a love song. He cleaned up the dark room. Made the house ready for a vip visit and selected his best clothes for the meeting. The movie played further and further …

In silence, over and over again …
