In The Heat Of The Night. Their Night. Only.

They were in the bedroom. The stars were bright. Dark inside. Outside the reality of light. They just made love. Very intense. He fell asleep. She looked at him. Comfortable in his ways. He was attractive. Certainly. She wondered if this time the relationship would work out. Doubts entering the room. She felt the urge to leave the windows open. Her intuition at work. He was in another world. His mind not communicating. She put her hand on his heart. To Ensure that he was still there. Physically he was. Intimacy was not easy for him. Even when he was sleeping.

She had the same issue. She looked in the mirror. Afraid of what might go wrong. His story was embedded in trauma. Hers too. They connected on that level. His father used to be a perfectionist. Hers too. Her mother was sometimes distant and betrayed her. His mother too. They did not express their fears and pain. They were collected in a box between dream and reality. In the heat of the night. They were sweating it out. Hell yes. Their night. Only.

In another dimension, she was having breakfast with him. They looked happy. They were happy. Same people. Different stories. He was deeply loved. Made with love and sealed with a kiss. She was the seed of true love as well. They danced through life. Life was a celebration. Nothing to be afraid of. They could handle everything. They could read each other's mind easily. Clarity. No waves on the ocean of love. They were not Always so aligned. A weak memory only reminded them of how far they had come. They were free. Free to go all the way. Without any restrictions.

She was a life coach. Helped others with traumatic issues. He was more down to earth. Practical. More a doer than a dreamer. Together they were a Lucky team. Her clients were fulfilled and satisfied. Her insights healed them. Yes, it took some time. As all great things in life do. But they were all willing to change and become a better version of themselves. Self-commitment through action. A blessing. She gave hypnosis sessions and every single client listened to her soothing words. The only way to make them listen. From their souls and hearts.

They got nightmares. As a result. Inner demons hunting them and speaking words of terror. But it was with a blanket of love that it made them aware of their obstacles within. They had to write it all down. With utmost detail and tell her about their experiences. The inner demons were not killing, instead they brought so much more love to discover. One of the clients was truly healed, and decided to give her a present. She looked up from her desk. She saw him. She recognised her partner. In the coolness of the day. His appearance had changed. He became the most wonderful being. The window still open.

The room was nothing compared to how it was before. A small card on the bed. The words written in black. The shadow gave the card to her. She read the words carefully. Meanwhile the doubts escaped from the dark room. Like old grey butterflies. Ready for transformation. The wounds got healed. All of them. Completely. The words on the card had a double meaning. In the heat of the night, they sounded like fear: 'I hate, to love you, I feel scared'. In the coolness of the day they felt like love: 'I hate you not, I love you, it feels sacred'. It was all fine. The sun entered the room. Touched hearts softly. The shadow got much smaller, but it was worth it. It felt truly acknowledged. Love made all the difference.
