Kick Ass

If we would have been told in the beginning of the New Year that a virus would come and take over our world, we would not have believed it. Yet, it happened. Veni, vidi, vici. Don't know about the vici part. Luckily our human nature has been trained a long time ago to be resistant. Truly resistant. We can bend over a long time taken by a strong wind, but it lasts only as long as we let it be. The human soul can endure a lot and we should recognize that part in us, as it is a true treasure.

The virus used a large playground and attacked us. With power. To the core. Families have been suffering and maybe they still are to some extent. Some parts of the world are still licking their wounds, others open up again to the gifts of life. Life as we used to know - will always come back. Don't be fooled by the news. But maybe the circumstances changed us, so we look now with new eyes to the world around us. If one thing is sure about the whole crisis around the virus, is that it showed us the truth of what really matters to us human beings. 

A science fiction writer at his or her best made a script. A special script. This time. The movie started. Just like that. We were all actors in it. Now the wonderful part is that in the background the movie is still running, but we have a choice to decide how we write the following scenes. Or we sit and wait what the movie will bring or we will take action and lead the way. If we made it so far, we have prove that we are alive and being alive, we might as well kick ass in the second part of the movie. It is never too late to do that.

'Kick ass', could be the new two words in our lives. If a virus cannot stop us from living, nothing should. We as a human tribe continue to live our days. Maybe it is about time that we show that virus what WE are capable of. Let us give the virus only a secondary role in our new script. It can watch us from the side and learn from us. Be modest virus, you ain't seen nothing yet. Fear and love dance together in the song of the human heart. In a balanced act. Love conquers fear. Always. Fear cannot stand the brightness of love.

Let's love our human side more and make the movie called Life so beautiful that the virus becomes a minor part in some science fiction script while we really live our dreams
