Long Kisses

The old piano in the room longed for true performance. No artist to sing a song with it. It played a while with some rose petals and hoped that they would find the strength to bring some change in the room. But that is not what rose petals are made for. So that was not going to happen very soon. The scent of the roses was delicious. That was the essence. It brought some dream material inside. Black and white longed for more intense coloring. To be more complete. Somehow. A matter of timing. As always.

Her sensual lips curled. Colored pink red. Slow motion. Again and again. The shape and the lines were perfect. Created by divine mastery. In her dreams she was kissing for the very first time. Unique. She looked at his dark eyes. Dark as the night. Where the stars shine at their best. Open eyes. In communion. Diving deeper and deeper. The moon was present as well. A beautiful scenery for the heart. He had her under his spell. In magical and pure ways. Her behavior. Not confident yet. She observed his lips. Curling with joy and contentment. She followed his guidance.

Nothing else mattered in this moment. All what once seemed so important, lost its weight. The piano was called to the scene. Independent role. For once it could play music without the touch of human hands. Because it was part of a larger plan. It was free to compose with the best intentions. She loved the symphony instantly. He felt the same. His face came closer to hers. They belonged to each other. Before they were born. He was a bit more hero than she was. She demonstrated a cute expression of fear. 

While she wondered - somewhat shy- how the kiss would go, he stopped moving his face for a bit. Taking pictures for eternity. Stored in his soul. She was all what he hoped for and yet so much more. He kissed many times a woman before, but this one, was his preferred queen. He felt it in his bones. Truth confirmed. She waited for that special touch. Lips in love. Dancing with a glimpse of eternal bonding. It almost happened. Their lips were so close. Yet, they waited some more. The piano felt the tension in the air and translated it in the right melodies. 

Almost everyone in the audience smiled and remembered their first kiss. Innocent and special. The ones that never kissed before, observed the scene into the smallest details. Learning from the main actors. Silently and with humbleness. The moment arrived. Total readiness. Spotlights on their lips. Closer, closer and closest. That first touch gave them goose bumps. Technically she was lost at first. New to her. But from a romantic angle this was purest mastery, where all senses aligned for more bliss to come. Lovingly he invited her to show more bravery. She let go. Found her confident wings. Long ultralight kisses filled the dark night. The sound of the piano made it all worthwhile. Echos of darlings in love.
