She Woke Up. In Her Dream.

She Woke Up. In Her Dream.

The monitoring device stood by her side as a loyal friend. He watched over her. Devoted. Fully committed. Ready to take action when the smallest change would occur. He would not let her down. Not in a million years. His purpose was clear. Serving her and her life. With all he got. The nurses were drinking coffee. No milk. No sugar. The spoons were in the kitchen. Waiting to be cleaned. The doctor visited his patients. Serious look on his face. He stopped to talk to one of the nurses. She was gorgeous. Eyes that can kill. He asked her how the patient that was brought in yesterday, had reacted. Did she move, talk? The nurse - perfectly aware of her radiance - remained professional and explained that the situation was left unchanged. He gave her a respectful look. Continued his walk of confidence and peace. His shoes were red.

The white room in the hospital kept a secret. Behind closed doors she opened her eyes. She woke up. Only in her dream. The doctor and the nurses were not involved in this scene. Invisible. For them. She was in a different location. Slow actions. The wind kissed her ears. Gently. A divine lover in disguise. She felt deeply cared for. The scent of delicious flowers greeted her. Red and green colors everywhere. Where was she? She did not recognise this place. Her body felt light. Her feet left the ground. For a while. Time had the decency to wait for her. Until she was ready. To embrace new dimensions. Her lips felt dry. With her tongue she brought them to live again. The clouds were passing by. Like a train full of passengers. Always moving further. Images popped up. She was overwhelmed in the moment. It was so peaceful here. No voice. No car.

With her feet she touched the green grass now. It gave her a wonderful sensation. Goose bumps. Skin deep. She was alive. All her senses were talking to her. Craving for her attention. Convincing her that one of them deserved most attention. The grass was still wet. It felt good to be so closely in touch with nature. She needed this so much. No high-heel shoes required. It was all fine. Just like it was. She had no clue what she was doing here. Her shoulder hurted. Suddenly. Then a memory came back. She saw the lights of a car. Her body on the ground. Painful expression on her face. A mysterious man took her in his strong arms. Then she closed her eyes. Salty tears in her beautiful eyes. Moving to the corner. More and more. Ready to fall down. With courage. Like rain drops. Gravity in the air. The tears were now touching her cheeks and reached her lips. With her tongue she removed them. A habit since she was a child. It had such a special taste.

The wind tried to talk to her soul. Sentences sent from a distance. It was not planning on giving up on its assignment to let her know what she needed to hear. The breeze caressed her. Again and again. She had to feel this. Come on. Then a yellow butterfly danced around a flower. It gave her something to focus on. The flower felt honored. Bended. The chosen one.  Butterfly wings open. Pure plaisure. Simple act. She smiled. Her lips were designed to express happiness. She was a lucky soul. She heard words now. The sentences of the wind had arrived. As if she was keeping her ears next to a shell on the beach. Full of impact.  She had to sit down. To let the words enter deeply. Her long hair was moving in the wind. Her eyes watched the scenery. Turning left and right. She was figuring out what the wind was trying to say. "What do you feel?", the question was clear. She nodded. Understood.

She connected to her soul. She had not been there for a long time. Knocked on the door. She was home. She looked at her. In her divine presence. A whole arrangement of precious emotions of a lifetime stored. Where to begin? Colorful design. Going more and more inward. The wind kept the air flowing. Breathing new ideas into her. She saw boxes. With labels. Every emotion had a sacred place. Linked to memories of the past, present and future. She could spend weeks in this place. Always going deeper. She was curious and accepted the mission that the wind gave her. It was the right thing to do. She lied down in the wet grass. Surrendered. Completely. The nurse touched her arm. Gave her an injection. Her arm was full of colors. Some drops of fresh blood appeared. The nurse removed it. With utmost care. Then the nurse left the room. Closed the door behind her. Silence. The monitoring device checked upon her. She was breathing. Omg, relieved.

He was sitting in the kitchen. He felt really sad. She was on his mind. The kitchen was not cleaned. He was not in the mood to rearrange his stuff. He could only think about her. She was so beautiful. Like an angel. He damaged her. He had to find a way to get his business under control. His fingers grabbed a pencil. Drawing pictures. The scene appeared. The car that hit her. Her body on the ground. Blood colored red. Heartache. He felt awkward. Guilty. He looked in the mirror against the wall. His hair was a mess. His wrinkles told him that he reached a milestone in his life. He needed water. The glass on the table was half empty. His lips were dry. He touched his lips with his tongue. The window was open. A breeze entered. He could not stop it. It was sent from above. It moved a picture hanging on the wall. Summer design, an open field with red flowers and an ocean of green ...

"The wind kissed her ears" and the wind of your words kissed my ears gently. You have a unique writing style and sometimes your beautiful descriptions make me pause and read again. In your case a three minute read buzz could extend easily to twenty minutes.
