Spring Is In The Air
A lot of people had the flu or the cold or a mix of the two recently. I was one of them. It seemed to take ages to get over it. Finally there was light at the end of the tunnel. It made me reflect on how we can take things for granted so easily. What really matters, is our health. Without a good health, nothing will happen. The period of the flu/cold could do something good for our thinking and feeling. It is a good time to renew our perspective on life and what really counts.
Luckily everything is temporary. Bad times leave us and good times return. That is how nature proceeds. There is a time for everything. Change is part of nature. Colors return in Spring after a time of black and white winters. We enjoy it now so much more because we know the difference. By comparison we are able to put everything where it belongs to. Spring is welcome now and every day in good health is a gift.
With the flu or cold we did not lose too much. We gained new insights and became more grateful or content with what we do have in life. Maybe this is what happiness is all about. Being content with what we have. The essence of life appears to be very simple if we open our eyes to reality. Nature contains once more many powerful lessons which steer us in the best direction: living life as it is.
