The Antidote Scene

The Antidote Scene

The toxic snake loved her passionately. Devoured every cell of her being. Each night they spent hours together. Making love underground. Long hours where a soul and a soulless force were fighting for the last spot on earth. A matter of death or life. Lightning and thunder kept them company. The atmosphere was heavy and no gravity reached the area. She was naked as she had nothing to hide. The snake changed its ugly colors depending on the circumstances. The clouds noticed every movement with deepest sadness. They observed how the snake turned into dark circles to keep her heart locked. It was a selfish act. Nothing more than that.

Her eyes were motionless. As if they were fixed with powerful glue. Night by night her light diminished. Her existence in the world was nothing but a signature of cruelty to her soul. The snake loved to see her suffering. It was feeding energy from these black painted encounters. The audience watched these scenes with open eyes. They wondered why she let this happen to her. They would certainly have reacted to prevent worse. She could not follow that course. She was too blind to see the whole truth. The whole world felt the tension. A tension so large that even the lightning and the thunder became students for a moment of glory in time.

As in all good stories there was room for a happy ending. Room, but would it end in a joyful way? The audience expected the worst. Denial got wings and black birds carried the wind with them. Hijacked on highest level. No movement whatsoever was present. She was dying. Her soul got wounded. The snake was slowly but surely taking over her joy of living. The eyes of the audience became sad. Deeply sad. Tears out of nowhere flew from cheeks. Even from those who never cried before in their entire life. Their emotions kept them hostage before. As the emotional charge got downloaded, a change occured. The light from the audience was the magic key.

Suddenly the audience was creator in the story. They looked at the scene with new eyes and decided to give new roles to the artists on stage. Then the storylines changed. She felt the good energy. The stars in the sky brought her the light that matched with her soul. The moment she received it, the world was in bliss. For the first time hope appeared. The stage was set on fire. All what once was categorized under 'toxic' transformed into gold. The alchemy happened because true love always wins. It always will have the last word.

She was shining more and more. The antidote arrived in time. It was a miracle. The night became day. The snake could not bear all the light. It was simply too much for a soulless being. In a horror movie the role of the snake would end here. No right to be part of the happy ending. Rights sold because of bad karma. But the audience had the most enchanting heart and created its own fairytale. The toxic snake would have to buy its good karma back. Therefore it was allowed to play in extended time on scene. It had to learn what unconditional love was. It feared the assignment. But as it goes in all stories: that what we fear the most, will certainly turn into a meaningless ghost, once we believe in ourselves and have faith in a good outcome. That is what true magic is all about.

As a little girl she was in love with books, she just could not stop reading. She is actively involved as Published Author, VIP and Brand Ambassador at beBee. Grateful for her own joyful reading experience, Liesbeth wants to set the hearts of her audience on fire.

Liesbeth discovered that her passionate purpose in life is to make a difference with truthful and emotional cinematic storytelling. She is enthusiastic to learn to master this craft more and more. Success starts with taking that first step in the right direction.

Liesbeth always follows her heart and her dreams. The driving force throughout her life is the awareness that we are the only one who can make our dreams come true. Therefore we need to embrace the role of movie director, assume full responsibility for our choices, decisions and actions to create thoses scenes that really add meaning and fulfillment to our lives.

“You have to really be courageous about your instincts and your ideas. Otherwise you’ll just knuckle under, and things that might have been memorable will be lost.”  - Francis Ford Coppola

I love the strong thread you have woven into this ; even in the passion of entrapment, the charactor allows for an outside being (the audience) to influence the outcome. Very enticing!

"In a horror movie the role of the snake would end here. No right to be part of the happy ending". What a great philosophy . You mix wisdom with lovely descriptions. You tell a visual story. I told you before you should write scenarios for movies. You have an innate gift to do this.
