The Ants Theory

Once upon a time in a far away land a gorgeous baby was crying. Lying in a bed in a very simple house. The parents were in the main room. They had not eaten for days now. Their bellies were making sounds. Almost a song but not a joyful one. The forest in which they lived was their only chance to hunt for food but since it was so cold outside, the animals were hidding somewhere where it was warm. The man could not sleep. His analytic mind kept looking for solutions over and over again. He felt powerless. All what he could think of, did not seem to be possible. At least that was what he believed deep within. He always found excuses not to put his ideas into action. His wife finally slept after nights of being fully awake. The rain was streaming against the windows. This had to stop. The man could not take it anymore. He wanted a better life for his family. He decided to get out of the bed. He moved silently to not wake up his beloved one. 

Although the weather was bad, he went outside. Suddenly the storm stopped. The clouds were dissipating. He could see the light of the moon shining. It was a special night. An owl in the tree looked at him. It nodded its head wisely and decided to keep its focus on its night prayers. After all it was mentally preparing the hunt for mice. The owl needed to refine its strategy, because they were giving him a hard time. Always finding new ways not to be his victim. But owls are sharp thinkers, they overcome all obstacles. Owls need to eat to. Prayers have special powers when the moon lights up the sky. The man sat down under the tree. A blanket covered his body to keep it warm. He felt something touching his leg. It was an ant. There were more of them. Thousands of them were working hard to earn their living. That is what ants do, keep going, never letting down their community. And that might be one of the reasons for their success. Something magical happened that night. Impossible in reality, but possible in fairytales, the man could suddenly hear what the ants were saying.

'Pass the material, brothers and sisters. It will soon rain again. We have to hurry up, otherwise we might damage the whole construction', said the ant that apparently was planning the whole night event. The other ants obeyed as if they had done nothing else all their lives. Then the man saw a piece of paper being transmitted from one corner into the other one. The ants were moving it with great care. This was their first piece of paper ever so they handled it with love. 'What do we do with it?', one young ant asked. 'Well it contains a wise message, our reason for living', replied the leader. With big eyes of curiosity the man tried to find out what was written on the paper. His eyes saw the following words lighting up from the dark 'there is always a way to change destiny. Create your own universe and believe in the power of action.' That is what kept the ants moving through their little creatures life. A big commitment to change. That night the man decided not to give up but to find a wonderful solution to improve the life of his beloved ones and he acted accordingly. He succeeded quickly after that. Other successes followed soon. He understood that he always had the power within him. He just needed a reminder.
