The Dreamer

The Dreamer

It was night. Dark black painted. Stars in between. The silence was obvious. You could hear nothing. Nothing at all. Everyone and everything was put into a deep sleep. A fish wanted to make some marks on the universal wall. But gave up. Nobody was watching. It became a drawing. Another expression. For the living soul. The dreamer was dreaming. That is what he could do best. In fact after some many years he achieved mastery. The fish that became a drawing had plenty of time to observe the dreamer. It wanted to learn more about it. Focus on the dreamer now.

He was not moving at all. Like a statue. He was breathing. Prove that he was alive. Only prove so to say. From the outside nothing seemed to happen. The fish confirmed it. After some all directions investigation. However, as everything is possible in fairy tales, the fish asked permission to the universal force to enter the head of the dreamer. Permission came and the fish was happy. The fish could move although it was a drawing. Mental energy did its work. And so the adventure started with the fish in mind.

The dreamer had lots of thoughts. All finding their own path. It was the most busy factory the fish had ever seen. Thoughts came and went by. To the fish's huge surprise there was another man in the head, the selector. His mission was to catch the best thoughts. He was serious about it. The dreamer was not aware of the selector, he was just dreaming. The selector had a lot of work. He just wished he had an assistant for once. The fish applied for the job and guess what, it was selected. A smile around his fishy eyes.

Together they build a new team. The dreamer was now accompanied by the selector and the fish, without knowing, the dreaming went on and on. You do not have to know everything in life, so that was fine. The selector told the fish, ‘I gave you my job for one day, this is a good way to start, by doing’. The fish was amazed, in its state of a drawing, that was quite the thing. The thinking process renewed. One thought after the other. The fish looked. It let escape a few thoughts, although they were attractive.

One thought made a huge impression on the fish. The selector had his eyes closed. The fish had all power. It used it. The thought was caught. The fish had its say. A little bit shy the thought approached the fish. The other thoughts came by and did not pay attention, they were not selected after all for the bigger picture. The fish engaged into a conversation with the thought. They had lots of fun together. The thought grew bigger, it felt empowered. ‘I teach you how to swim’, said the fish, ‘You need to enter the big world’.

The thought agreed. The lessons started. Day by day the thought turned into the best swimmer, just like fish do naturally. The dreamer kept on dreaming, while the thought was at work. Working hard to make a living. The selector opened his eyes, asked some questions. the fish replied in its own moving ways. The thought had become very strong and the selector could hardly believe his eyes. What a work of art, he never achieved that level of mastery himself. He gazed at the fish. The fish remained its humble self.

The day came that the thought had to pop up in the waking up stage of the dreamer. Giving birth to a new day in the life of the dreamer. The sun touched the dreamer's heart. The dreamer knew it was time to wake up. One eye opened, a second one. The dreamer just had to smile. He remembered a beautiful dream. The thought popped up in the memory of the dreamer. The dreamer turned into a doer. Dreaming at night, doing in daylight. The thought became a plan of action.

Twenty one days later the thought had manifested into reality as if it was nothing at all. A process so natural that even the selector had to take a seat to process it all. For the dreamer it all came in the most simple ways. He only had to dream and a path was being made. The universal force asked the fish to return to its ocean. The other fishes were calling their mate. The fish did what was told. However his colours had changed. It was now a goldfish. The selector also changed. He could see better. A high quality to select better.

And the dreamer kept on dreaming. He did not need to control the outcome. It was all taken care of. Backed up by a higher level plan. The dreamer smiled, the selector was singing and the fish became the leader of the pack. If you go out at night, close to the endless ocean, you could see the goldfish taking the lead, whereas his mates kept on dreaming of being a drawing first and then an actor of a good cause. The reward was clear. Everyone was touched by a magical force and became a better version.

Dream, then do
