The Power Of A Simple Thank You.

Bol.com, an online shop, where I am customer, surprised me this morning. They said 'thank you' in the most loving way. It all started with their email that I received a few days ago. Their creative marketing team had made a joyful story in which they celebrated my one year customer membership. It made me smile. It touched my heart. Certainly because I am a writer myself and I adore storytelling. Fact is that I was so happy with that celebration email of bol.com, that I decided to mention it on Twitter.

And see, now, this morning, their response came in the form of a sweet thank you card and a power bank. Bol.com you just won 2600 bonus points added to my heart bank account. That power bank is a sign for powerful customer relationship building. The company and especially their social media team went the extra mile to create a happy customer. Mission achieved. You won my heart and as a reward I will not only thank you but also consider you as my main choice for the next order when I need a product that you sell.

This is my reply to bol.com, you just showed how to lead by example. Thank you for that. A simple gesture with a huge impact. I will never forget how you made me feel this morning. That is true power. When a business wows a customer, he or she will always return. For smaller or bigger orders. I trust that bol.com cares about my needs. The business demonstrated this with their gentle gesture. Let us all think how we can wow our customer more. The success recipe can be simple. Let us show our care for and dedication to our customers in our daily actions.

It never fails to amaze me just how few people (and Corps) realize the power of 'please', thank you', and 'you are appreciated'! This warms my heart - the 'aw' of the day sweet !
To good people with a truthful mindset happens good things always! Great companies who care about their brand , care about people. What you do for others will be repay a 1000 time! Showing that take the will to achieve it in time as scheduled. That's when you know that you're worthy for them. Did LinkedIn every thank you for your business or watever you ould have done or them?
