Beschrijving
Als supervisor sta je in voor de operationele leiding van logistieke- of productieprocessen. Dit betekent dat je jouw mensen begeleidt en aanstuurt om samen de vooropgestelde objectieven te bereiken. Jij stoomt ze klaar tot professionals die efficiënt kunnen werken in een fast-paced environment, waar verandering dagelijks op het agenda staat. Jouw persoonlijke aanpak zorgt ervoor dat zij de nodige individuele benadering en coaching krijgen, om het beste in zichzelf naar boven te halen. Daarnaast kan je ook de nodige regels aan de dag brengen. Een leider is streng, maar rechtvaardig. Dat geldt ook hier. Jij zorgt voor het evenwicht tussen empathie, autonomie en hierarchie. Zo zorg jij ervoor dat jouw mensen de regels inzake veiligheid, kwaliteit, ergonomie en milieu nauwgezet opvolgen. Jij stimuleert hen om enerzijds de regels te volgen en anderzijds verbeteringsvoorstellen te doen. Zij zijn tenslotte de experts in het productie of logistiek proces. Zij hebben de kennis, jij de attitude om van hén medewerkers te maken met een gezonde dosis zelfvertrouwen en vooral veel 'goesting'.

Een supervisor of future leader is namelijk iemand die denkt in termen van 'wij'. Niet alleen jij wil vooruit, je wil dat iedereen mee is. Jij zorgt voor de juiste begeleiding, een afgelijnd pakket van duidelijke regels én de ruimte om zichzelf te zijn. Je houdt van plannen, organiseren en optimaliseren. Continu verbeteren? Daar draait het voor jou om Jij hebt een globaal beeld van de organisatie, maar je let op detail en zorgt dat elke KPI het best mogelijke resultaat behaalt. Hoe? Door gewoon jezelf te zijn. Jouw uitstraling en enthousiasme zorgen voor energie bij jouw medewerkers. Zo krijgen ze zelf de kriebels te pakken om te verbeteren, te innoveren en de uitdagingen aan te gaan. Natuurlijk vragen wij wel een uitstekende kennis van de Engelse en Nederlandse taal, want niet alleen jouw houding is belangrijk ook jouw communicatiestijl telt mee. En niet te vergeten, een geboren leider in een operationele omgeving heeft een goede kennis van technische en logistieke topics én heeft een bachelordiploma op zak.
