For our office in Brussels, we are looking for a
Trainee (M/F/d) (6 months (starting at short notice) with possibility of extension to 12 months within the framework of the 'Convention d'immersion professionelle'), to join our
Public and Industry Affairs department in Danfoss Climate Solutions.
In this position, you will support the team in various tasks related to the
monitoring and analysis of key EU policy developments.
Responsibilities:
In short, your responsibilities could include:
- Monitoring and analysis of
key EU policy developments on digital (e.g. data act, digital services) and
-
energy issues (e.g. sector integration, waste heat, district energy) and mapping key stakeholders for Danfoss
- Attending relevant
internal and
external meetings, taking notes and reporting back to the
Public and Industry Affairs (PIAS) team as well as other internal stakeholders - Helping to identify new
relevant advocacy opportunities for Danfoss - Assisting with any other relevant activities during the internship period and daytoday tasks as assigned under supervision
Background & Skills:
For this position, you will have a master's degree in
law, economics, political sciences or similar.
In addition, we are looking for:
- Familiarity with EU institutions and political processes
- Good knowledge of MS Office including Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Team player, selfstarter, positive work attitude, sociability, and reliability
- Strong organizational skills
- Fluent written and spoken English skills (any other EU language, in particular Danish and German, is an asset)
