We are hiring for a Medical Advisor in the field of Genitourinary (GU) Cancer.

  • The role of the Medical Advisor (MA) involves being a scientific expert in the Urooncology sector (Prostate and Bladder Cancer) in Belgium and Luxemburg.

Place in the Organization:

The MA will report to the GU Cancer Medical Therapeutic Area Lead (MTAL), who oversees the functional line management of MAs which includes goal setting and performance evaluation.


Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted scientific expert for internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain updated knowledge of products, treatment paradigms, studies, and healthcare landscape
  • Translate new data from congresses into local impact
  • Provide content training and effective communication of data across TA
  • Provide medical leadership at Country Value Team (CVT)
  • Support MTAL in developing MAF strategy
  • Plan, lead Advisory Boards, and offer scientific guidance to internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with various teams to optimize patient access
  • Establish networks with MAF Functional Network and EMEA MAs
  • Manage Medical Affairs budget
  • Take on Study Responsible Physician/Scientist role
  • Build professional relationships with key stakeholders
  • Recognize potential leading specialists
  • Capture key insights to shape strategy
  • Coordinate data generation activities
  • Collaborate with RWE team for RWE projects
  • Communicate non-promotional medical data using multichannel approaches
  • Review and approve medical materials
Compliance:
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulations and legal requirements
  • Handle safety reporting requirements

Qualifications:
  • Must have a scientific degree
  • Minimum 5 years of Medical Affairs experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Previous experience in (Uro) oncology is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of the Belgian pharmaceutical industry and healthcare system
