To further strengthen our manufacturing and supply team, we are looking for a talented Strategic Logistics Team member.

This position offers a unique opportunity to strengthen the build out and shape of a global supply chain infrastructure for innovative pharmaceutical products.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Assist to setout the strategic landscape for argenx commercial logistics
Maintains a logistics capacity forecast model which drives strategic decision making;
Assesses/identifies risks in the logistics area and is responsible for risk mitigation;
Identifies potential cost savings and bring to execution;
Take the lead in launch shipments. Proactive followup with all stakeholders internally and externally
Lead the implementation and qualification of all applicable lanes for the commercial supply chain;
Supports the implementation and setup of new suppliers
Supports with RFQ execution
Lead distribution issue resolution and continuous improvement implementation;
Maintains awareness of Global Regulatory changes, Compliance with applicable GDP, safety and environmental requirements;
Maintain relationship with forwarders, CMOs and suppliers for packaging solutions
Collect and maintain all import requirements at country level
Build database (in Oracle) with logistics master data
Build repository for storage of logistics qualification documentation
Support in ESG reporting
Supports the trade compliance assessment
Collect all info for insurance and is contact with insurance company for supply chain
Review of logistics invoices
Work in collaboration with logistics manager

Qualifications and skills:

GDP certification;
GMP knowledge
Very experienced logistics skills, knowledge of customs requirements
Willing to become SME in trade compliance and ESG reporting
Oracle experience
Flexible attitude, capable of picking up the tasks that require attention, out of the box thinking;
Solution driven mindset, taking the lead in problem solving
Stress resistant
Quality conscious attitude;
Able to operate in a dynamic surrounding of a fast growing biotech company with challenging timelines;
Good Communication skills with internal and external stakeholders;
Cold chain expertise;
Proactive and continuous improvement mindset.

Education and experience- Logistics, engineering, supply chain;- Technical expertise in the field of supply chain, temperature control and logistics;- Experience within a pharmaceutical environment and/or forwarder environment is crucial;- 2-5y within relevant industry;- Fluent in English, written and spoken.

GDP certification;
