ARHS Spikeseed is looking for an experienced Product Owner for one of its clients in Brussels, a key player in the Energy Sector with increasing new projects.


Role & responsibilities

  • Developing, formulating and communicating a vision for the product in line with the product line vision and customer needs.
  • Developing and communicating the product roadmap (product features, prioritization, release timelines, etc.) based on customer needs and the product line roadmap.
  • Initiating, developing and maintaining contacts with (internal) customers and other relevant stakeholders, as well as representing these stakeholders within the own team.
  • Building, updating and maintaining the product team's backlog, prioritizing user stories, based on customer needs and stakeholder requirements.
  • Ensuring the product meets predefined quality standards, conducting tests and monitoring product performance.
  • Coordinating, facilitating and communicating product releases and ensuring the right features are delivered at the right time.
  • Participating in scrums and productrelated ceremonies (incl. daily standup meetings, sprint planning meeting, sprint review and sprint retrospectives etc.).

Qualifications Your profile**- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling you to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • A passion for software development, a focus on creating exceptional user experiences, and a customercentric approach are crucial.
  • Comfortable in interacting with all organizational levels, adept at distilling complex technical and business concepts into clear narratives, and skilled at providing positive, constructive feedback.
  • Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of German, French, or Dutch is considered an asset.

Technical skills

  • Experience with
    machine learning lifecycle, including
    model selection, training, validation, and deployment.
  • Strong understanding of
    machine learning algorithms and principles.
  • Keen understanding of customer needs.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing
    SaaS or PaaS products

  • A strong grasp of
    agile methodologies and a track record of working with crossfunctional agile teams.
  • You should possess an
    analytical mindset, capable of using data to inform decisionmaking and evaluate product success.
  • Familiarity with the full software
    development life cycle and various prioritization frameworks, such as RICE, Kano Model, MoSCoW, and Cost of Delay, is expected.
