As a Data Analyst and Process Automation Intern, you will be an integral part of the team and you will gain a wide range of practical experience.


The Fund Management departement of Bank Degroof Petercam is looking for an intern to start
as soon as possible for a period of
3-12 months.



Your Position:


As a Data Analyst and Process Automation intern, you will join a team of Fund Managers in charge of several multi-assets funds totaling over €12bn in AUM.


You will be responsible for:

  • Developing tools for performing data analysis and generating reports;
  • Constructing automated data pipelines and developing automated process solutions for various office tasks;
  • Reporting to the Head of Bank Degroof Petercam Fund Management by participating to the team meetings with discussions on portfolio construction, generation of investment ideas, and the investment strategy;
  • Interacting with investement analysts, fund managers and Private Bankers.

Your Profile:


  • You are currently pursuing or holding a Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Finance, Economics, or Business and Software Engineering;
  • You are fluent in English and have an excellent command of French and/or Dutch;
  • You have excellent knowledge and use in Data Analytics with programing skills on Python, Excel/VBA and PowerBI;
  • You are proficient in MS Office;
  • You are interested in Financial Markets with a good understanding of Financial Economics & Global Macro;
  • You have a good knowledge of different Financial Instruments (Equities, fixed income, derivatives, currencies);
  • You are detailoriented and have strong analytical skills;
  • You are able to work independently;
  • Team spirit is in your DNA, and you like to work in a challenging environment with a dynamic team.
