Skills, knowledge, experience required:
- A higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 1 year of postrelated experience;
- OR a secondary educational qualification with 3 years' postrelated experience;
- Demonstratable skills in MS Office suite, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS SharePoint, and databases;
- Previous experience in service delivery and service delivery costing;
- Ability to:
- Take initiative with a flexible approach allowing to respond reliably and competently to changing requirements in a demanding environment;
- Work with a minimum supervision;
- Excellent command of spoken and written English with a proven ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of:
- NATO rules and regulations;
- NATO responsibilities and organization, including ACO and ACT;
- Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements.
Duties/role:
- Managing administration of the Life Cycle Cost and Business Operation office;
- Organising own workload to ensure the timely and accurate execution of duties;
- Providing support to ACQ Business Operations Team;
- Assisting in any activities requiring support in the areas of resource planning and allocation, service delivery management or planning, reporting, and controls;
- Collecting inputs from different stakeholders to support elaboration of different business plans (workforce, procurement, business execution, recruitment campaigns);
- Conducting regular reviews with internal stakeholders to ensure plans and actuals are kept uptodate and escalating as required;
- Maintaining ACQ project and service plans (including tracking and monitoring of ACQ performance against signed Service Level Agreements);
- Setting up and supporting:
- Agency Procurement Plan reviews;
- Risk management reviews;
- Supporting Agency reviews and reports by generating and consolidating all required inputs;
- Tracking collection of evidence/artefacts in support of internal or external audits;
- Providing constructive suggestions to improve office procedures;
- Recommending ways to provide a faster, better, and more effective support to internal and external customers in managing information, providing feedbacks, and using office tools;
- Deputizing for higher grade staff, if required;
- Performing any other duties as may be required.
