As Presales Solutions Consultant - Product Cost Management
You will work in the EMEA Presales team to promote and demonstrate our Cost & Carbon footprint solutions. The position will contribute on groundbreaking opportunities to translate the customers' requirements into appealing demonstrations and presentations. With our technical competence we can craft the solution required by the customer.


Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing product presentations and demonstrations (both online and onsite)
  • Handling Handson sessions with customers
  • Helping our sales team to provide the best solution for our customers
  • Act as trusted advisor to customers and guide them through the implementation process involving our professional services team
  • Working collaboratively with customers and Siemens product development team to deliver feedback for existing technologies to new solution domains
  • Engaging with clients and prospects to gather high level customer business and technical requirements.
  • Understand existing information technology infrastructure and settle customer business needs as part of the sales effort

All about you


You hold a higher education diploma or bachelor's degree on; manufacturing, automation technology, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering, or costing & finance.

Also, you have great command of English (German, French, Dutch, or any other European language can give you an advantage).


  • Experience in the cost engineering area, such as cost estimation, value engineering, etc.
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ideally you have shown first experience within the PLM domain
  • We speak to our customers mainly in English, additional languages are welcome
  • You are customer focused, target oriented and have team spirit
  • You work proactively on engagements and be able to work independently
