We are actively looking for a Senior GL accountant for one of our clients located in the heart of Brussels our client is active in the sector of food production and is active in more than 75 countries all over the world.

Because of this rapid growth, the accounting team needs reinforcement You will be working among a warm and professional team and will report directly to the Accounting Manager.

By joining this structure as a GL accountant, you will be in charge of many responsibilities while managing different entities all over the globe.

You will also get the chance to play an important role in the improvement and implementation of new processes such as the setting up of consolidation processes

Function:

Management and supervision of Junior Accountants
Suppliers' invoicing
Followup and allocate payments + be the main point of contact for suppliers
Maintain intercompany accountancy and proceeding to reconciliation
Prepare monthly closing
Prepare VAT and tax declarations
Support the team in the preparation of the audit

Profil:

Superior education in Accounting
At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant. A first experience in Consolidation and the management/supervision of a team are a big plus
You are French or Dutchspeaking and you are fluent in English
You find yourself very comfortable managing and motivating a team on a daily. Furthermore, you value knowledge sharing and enjoy sharing your expertise with others
Your organization skills and preciseness are your biggest assets
You are willing to do the extra mile
