Department Info:

The Pharmaceutical Solutions Division (PSD) marketing team develops, coordinates, and supports product strategy, market research, and marketing communication. In addition, the team leads the launch of new products and promotes the PSD product portfolio.

The marketing team also oversees the general branding and contributes to enhancing PSD presence globally in traditional and on digital channels.

The marketing team supports the global sales team to position PSD as a trusted partner for Pharma customers.

Job Summary:

As a Marketing Communication Assistant Intern, you will provide support for the day-to-day marketing activities, as well as several ongoing projects.

You will contribute directly to a wide range of topics including event management, meeting arrangements, team building activities and much more.

You will be a part of a high-quality and very driven global team. You will collaborate with numerous stakeholders internally and be able to drive your personal development on all possible fronts.

Besides executing your internship in the local team, you will get the opportunity to connect with multiple people at Terumo, including fellow interns and the senior management.

In addition, you'll get the opportunity to learn about the company in different ways.

This is a temporary position to support the marketing team for a period of 3 months until the end of 2023.

We can consider full or part-time assignemnts. Ideally you live in the vicinity of our Leuven HQ.

Responsibilities:

As our Marketing Communication Assistant Intern, you will be involved in several projects and/or tasks. Therefore, you will need to provide support in the execution of several marketing and sales aspects.

You will be involved in the following tasks:

Support the set-up of events and conferences, both internal and external (registrations, accommodation, dinners, preparing practical instructions, packing, and shipping)
Support the setup of our customer events (USA, India, China, EMEA)
Support the creation of promotional material, product brochures, PowerPoint presentations.
Support the management of marketing campaigns.
Arrange internal meetings.
Manage our supplier database.
Support the invoicing process.
Maintaining the inventory of the marketing materials on SharePoint
Organizing team building activities.

Profile Description:

You are enthusiastic and driven about complementing our highly qualified marketing team.

You are currently involved in studies that provide you with a relevant background to perform well within the internship context, e.g.

Office Management, Business Management, Marketing,.

You are a self-starter and serious about your own development and performance. Additionally, you possess good critical, analytical and communication skills.

You also possess a highly creative point of view and have a high regard for attention to detail, as well as quality.

You are fluent in English. This entails both verbal and writing skills. In addition, you are a team player, but also take responsibility for your own work. You feel comfortable in an environment where priorities can change.

You can analyse large amounts of complex information and streamline it into one presentable piece.

You possess a good knowledge and understanding of MS Office.
