Job Description
For the position as foreman in masonry works (restoration), you will be assigned a wide range of tasks.Here is a practical overview:

• Organizing and preparing the construction site;
• Chiseling out and re-pointing brickwork or stonework;
• Laying bricks for existing constructions;
• You take care of the 'basic' bricklaying, but also specific restoration techniques and decorative masonry;
• You replace bad sections of walls or treat them, joint them,... This ranges from classic masonry to natural stone;
• You will be part of a multifunctional restoration team, where craftsmanship is paramount;
• You possess the necessary skills to lead a team.

• The job of a bricklayer holds no secrets for you, as you master various techniques (arches, cross bond, half-brick, façade, center,...);
• You perform these techniques at a good pace;
• Yet, you also pay enough attention to quality and an eye for detail;
• In addition, you are someone who can perform tasks both independently and as part of a team;
• It is to your advantage if you have experience in renovating and/or restoring protected monuments, churches, etc.;
• You are flexible, hours can vary, and construction sites can take you anywhere;

• You will be paid according to the wages in the construction sector: which vary between €17.234 and €20 per hour, depending on your education and/or experience;
• You will receive a mobility allowance in addition to your travel allowance to the depot;
• For each day worked, you receive a clothing allowance of €0.5;

• You will receive a pension premium of 0.17% of your gross salary;
