At the Whiteam we are seeking a
Project Manager to join our team in
Brussels and work with the
European Commission.



DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS

  • Manage the implementation of transformation projects to meet identified business needs, acquiring and using the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality.
  • Give proposals for project strategies, planning, definition of tasks and deliverables, business analysis, development or review of project deliverables, quality control, risk analysis and management, status reports, problem reporting and management systems, follow up and organization.
  • Lead change management efforts and develop change management plans
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to gather requirements, manage expectations and communicate project status, risks, and milestonesGuide the team in charge of project activities and review their deliverables.
  • Participate in functional working groups and progress meetings.
  • Estimate costs, timescales and resource requirements for the successful completion of each project to agreed terms of reference. Manage the change control procedure gaining agreement for revisions to the project from project sponsors. Provide effective leadership for the project team ensuring that team members are motivated and constantly developing their skills and experience.

  • Experience in implementing digital strategies in large organisations
  • Good understanding of digital technologies and business analysis techniques
  • Experience in IT project planning and execution, budget management and quality assurance
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and change communication
  • Ability to combine many different skills and experiences to address and solve business, information, and technology related opportunities and problem
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Very good communication skills with technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Capability to write clear and structured technical documents
  • Ability to work in multicultural environment
  • Excellent Team Player
  • Excellent knowledge of English (spoken, written)

SPECIFIC EXPERTISE
Following specific expertise is
mandatory for the performance of tasks:

  • Good knowledge of large organisation administrative business processes.
  • Good knowledge of project and portfolio management standards and methodologies (Project Scheduling, Strategic Planning, Financial Modelling, Budgeting, Forecasting, Performance Tracking).
  • Good knowledge of Agile methodology, Scrum Management, Lean agile
  • Good understanding of Enterprise Architecture principles
  • Meeting Facilitation
  • Good knowledge of project management tools e.g. MS Project, Microsoft Excel.

CERTIFICATIONS & STANDARDS:

Following certificates & standards are
required for the performance of tasks:

  • Project and Portfolio Management, for example PM2/PRINCE2/PMP
  • Service Management, for example ITIL certification
  • Enterprise Architecture, for example TOGAF certification is an asset

Near-Site

  • The services shall be performed remot_ely in Nearsite location allowing to reach the Commission premises in Brussels within 2 hours._
