Functie
As EHS Officer, you are responsible for providing environmental health and safety support to all site operations

In this capacity:
You evaluate the workplace environment and develop safety-management policies that assure the safety of all our employees;

You practice safe working techniques and reenforce the safety policies, guidelines and procedures set out by the company;
You provide daily guidance and direction in EHS programs at employee/supervisor level to ensure a common and effective approach;
You identify and analyse (possible) incidents and accidents, including reporting (severity, frequency) and action plans to prevent or correct;
You maintain and update safety operating procedures for all safe work practices and equipment and utilize them in day to day training;
You ensure all workplace tools and equipment meet industry standards and are installed properly, as defined by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration;
You manage and control EHS capital expenditure requests and budget for upcoming EHS projects;
You define and implement emergency plans & procedures;
You report to the Site Manager and you work closely with the departments production, maintenance and supply chain.

Functie-eisen

You combine a technical background and an EHS degree (preferably level 2) with a similar working experience in an industrial environment.
Being a communicative teamplayer, you are eager to learn and you have a big interest in the complete value chain of a company.
You have good ICT (MS Office) and language skills (Dutch, English).
