Focus of this role will be on customer strategy and process transformation.

Within your role as an Experience Designer Associate Consultant, you will:

  • Shape, conduct research and collaborate with users, staff and stakeholders to shape a holistic view of the total user experience
  • Analyze, consolidate, and communicate research findings to stakeholders in order to strategically frame, validate and quantify the problem being solved and help inform the wider strategic roadmap of initiatives
  • Translates client needs, business and technology requirements and user research into vision documents, wireframes, user flows, mockups and highfidelity prototypes and userinterfaces, all made possible thanks to continuous feedback and iterations;
  • Enable the customer process transformation and embed new working ways through IBM Garage delivery model.
  • User Journey Mapping with emphasis on pain points and opportunities to improve the current journey(s);
  • Detail tobe processes to enable new customer experiences and employee experiences
  • Support de development and execution of a pilot or Minimum Viable Product as part of Garage delivery model.
  • Develop best practices and playbook to hand over to client customer operations
  • Implement agile methods and ensure knowledge transfer

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • We welcome recent graduates with maximum 1 year of work experience and finalyear students with less than 6 months of studies left.
  • Degree in any of the following domains in a design related track, like Design for Interaction, Digital Design, etc.
  • Portfolio of projects that demonstrate your skills in UX strategy from research to envisioning to execution
  • Love for qualitative & quantitative data, experimentation and user testing
  • Excellent storytelling skills
  • Willingness to collaborate onsite with the enthusiastic client teams and travel up to 4 days a week, to clients in Belgium, depending on business demand
  • Fluent in either Dutch or French with a good working knowledge of the other and English with strong communication skills both in writing and verbally
  • Eligible to work in Belgium and European Union without any restriction.
