Keysight Technologies as a company is active in different funded cooperative R&D programs throughout Europe.

The programs are funded at a local level or at a European level and are managed in a central office based in Rotselaar, Belgium.

The work covers organising, monitoring and leading the back office related to these programs. The back office comprises a wide range of aspects and processes such as legal (consortium agreements, contracts), financial (budget, cost claims), operational (time record keeping), project administrative management (reporting preparation, gathering inputs)


Your role as an intern will be to work with the European Research Projects Coordinator to ensure that the different existing and new projects are implemented properly given the company management systems and resources.

You will be working in an international R&D environment, mainly European but including contacts with US and Asia. You will hence be involved in projects which contribute to the advancement of Test and Measurement science.

The internship duration is flexible, as well as the number of hours you can work per week. The internship can be combined with a student job at Keysight as well if acceptable for your school.


Your tasks for new project submissions are:

  • Managing the standard administrative Keysight inputs into the proposals
  • Ensuring that budgets are created according to accounting systems
  • Compile project proposals and perform final editing into Word documents
  • Keep an eye on deadlines and the project filing process
  • Ensure the negotiation process and necessary documents are ready in time and get submitted
    Your tasks for existing projects are:
  • To follow up the projects, remind technical project managers about upcoming deadlines
  • Monitor the budgets, distribution of funds, track funds allocation inside the company,
  • Ensure the necessary administrative processes are in place and are being executed for each project,
  • Prepare the cost statements and necessary reporting (information gathering and compilation of technical and financial reports)
    Job Qualifications:
To be an efficient intern, you have a minimum understanding of:

  • Cost accounting,
  • You can work with standard Windows Office tools such as Excel, Powerpoint, SharePoint, MS-Project and you have a good working knowledge of Word,
  • You have a basic project management understanding (deadlines, milestones, deliverables )
