Who are we?

The Data Domain is responsible for establishing, consolidating and unifying data and analytics services across the business area of Compressor Technique within Atlas Copco.

We strive to become the business partner for trusted, transparent and robust enterprise data to enable data driven decision making.

In this role you become part of a highly motivated team in the exciting world of data, analytics and reporting.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for a passionate and committed Functional Analyst to join the Manufacturing & Engineering Data Domain team. You will work together with business stakeholders to understand business requirements and challenges. You will document business processes and requirements to meet those challenges.

Additionally, you will drive process improvement ideas with a focus on scoping, coordinating, planning, executing user acceptance testing, launch activities and providing ongoing support.

You will also be responsible for triage and analysis of production support issues.

You report to the Data Domain Product Owner.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

Stakeholder management:

You engage with our existing and future stakeholders and help them adopt solutions to meet their business requirements.
You can work with the stakeholders to understand the big picture and work towards it
You ensure growth in our platform awareness, adoption and usage by customers
You showcase product and solutions through presentations, demos and effective documentation
You lead discovery sessions with the team and business users to understand the business objectives and system needs
You would need to map out the business processes and present them through clear visualizations
You proactively create documentation like business cases, usage scenarios, FAQ's, meeting note, etc. and ensure that the information reaches to the correct audience

Reporting and Analysis:

You provide support to end users in various data queries and you can assist them in building Power BI reports (Self Service)
Analyze data and present data through reports that aid decisionmaking
Produce data/information models and preliminary system architecture facilitating a successful solution design and development
You assist in the gathering of initial business case requirements and other preproject activities (e.g., high level requirements, project scope, objectives)

Skills and Experience

Minimum 3 years' experience as functional analyst in a multinational or consultancy company
Working knowledge of agile methodologies
Handson experience with SQL
Understanding of database design
Strong analytical skills
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
An understanding of data warehousing and relational database concepts & technologies.
Ability to manage multiple projects utilizing strong planning and organizational skills
Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills to demonstrate solution concepts
Work experience within Atlas Copco, in the Manufacturing or Engineering department is considered an asset
