Poulpharm is a reliable, independent partner for veterinarians and the veterinary pharmaceutical and food industry.

Poulpharm specializes in offering high-quality research activities, both at the diagnostic level and when performing (pre-)clinical trials in its own testing facilities.

All activities are performed under strict procedures (ISO 17025, GCP, GLP, ).

Our goal is to help the veterinarian to make a correct diagnosis with, in addition, offering complementary services; such as the optimization of the composition of autogenous vaccines and a thorough bacterial strain characterization and comparison.

Poulpharm also acts as an external partner for pharmaceutical companies wishing to perform bacteriological analyses.

At the central financial department in Izegem we would like to strengthen the team with a
financial controller.
Job Description

As financial controller, you will work closely with your two colleagues in accounting to ensure that financial reports are reliable.

After an induction period and extensive internal training, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the group's financial policy.

Your responsibilities will be as follows:

You prepare the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports of both the Belgian and international companies;
You make ad hoc analyses of the financial results;
You participate in the development of financial and internal control processes;
You are responsible for drawing up reports for the Board of Directors, the Management Team and the banks;
You are responsible for coordinating the budget process of the companies, follow it up on a regular basis and elaborate it;

Profile

You have a master's degree in commercial sciences, TEW or commercial engineering and already have relevant work experience as an auditor or financial controller.
You have a good knowledge of accounting and know how to translate data into information.
You have a criticalanalytical mind with an emphasis on details, but do not lose sight of the bigger picture.
You can work well independently and set your priorities.
You are resultsoriented, proactive and solutionoriented.
You are a team player.
You succeed in meeting deadlines.
