The Business Operations Manager/Controller plays a pivotal role in the organization, serving as a bridge between various departments and the leadership team.

This multifaceted position involves interpreting data from multiple sources, including budgetary information, business and financial data, sales reports, delivery reports, projects reports, strategic plans.

The Manager/Controller supports the leadership team in making strategic decisions by analyzing this data and rolling out comprehensive action plans.


Reporting directly to the CEO, in the CEO office, the Business Operations Manager/Controller oversees day-to-day operations, ensuring the effective coordination of interdepartmental initiatives.

In addition to interpreting data, the role encompasses financial management responsibilities, including performing cost-benefit analyses of internal programs. The Manager/Controller prepares and presents reports for various stakeholders, contributing to strategic coordination and progress tracking.

This comprehensive role requires a strategic mindset and a keen understanding of both operational and financial aspects to drive the organization's success.


YOUR MISSION

Strategic Planning and Cross-Functional Collaboration:


  • Contribute to formulating and executing the organization's strategic plan.
  • Act as the Coordination/Liaison Officer for strategic projects, promoting collaboration across departments.
  • Conduct monthly interdepartmental meetings to communicate new agendas and ensure alignment.
  • Collaborate with project teams to facilitate the seamless execution of strategic initiatives.

Business Oversight and Data Analysis:


  • Navigate budgets, financial & commercial forecasts, and reports to ensure a comprehensive understanding.
  • Monitor and analyze commercial data, providing insights and recommendations to inform strategic decisions.
  • Regularly request and review reports (governance dashboard, KPIs, etc.) from company departments.
  • Compile information from diverse sources to create a holistic overview of the company and market.

Operational Excellence Enhancement:


  • Support the streamlining and optimization of business processes to boost efficiency and productivity.
  • Implement best practices to enhance overall operational performance.

Executive and Management Committee Support:


  • Interpret data and prepare presentations for Executive Committee (Comex) and Management Committee meetings.
  • Utilize information to strategize and schedule companywide changes for maximum positive impact.

Functional Team Assistance and Progress Monitoring:

  • Mentor teams involved in ongoing projects, fostering collaboration and results-oriented work.
  • Provide guidance and support to various departments in achieving their operational and financial goals.
  • Regularly request and monitor progress reports from all departments.
  • Analyze business and financial data to identify areas for improvement and increased efficiency.

Education / Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field is often required. An advanced degree (master's or MBA) is preferred and can be advantageous.
  • Proven background in business operations, strategic planning, Corporate (M/A or Integration) projects, and/or financial management.
  • Experience in interpreting and analyzing complex data from various departments.
  • Familiarity with industryspecific regulations and compliance standards.
  • 7+ years of successful experience in managing operations within a complex corporate environment.
  • Experience with project management, especially in coordinating and overseeing strategic initiatives.

Skills

  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting various types of data, including financial reports and performance metrics.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal, to convey complex ideas to different stakeholders.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Robust interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and relationshipbuilding across departments.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and contribute to the development of business strategies.
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial principles, budgetary processes, and costbenefit analysis.
  • Project Management: Experience in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring.

Business Knowledge:
Understanding of IT business and familiarity with relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
