Our Client, a trusted brand with over 80 years of history, knowledge and a global player, is seeking a temporary replacement for their
Field Service Manager for at least 6 months.

This position is critical to maintaining our high quality of service and effectively managing their team of service technicians.

Function description

As a temporary Field Service Manager, you will be expected to take on a wide range of tasks and responsibilities.

This means that you will be responsible for the following tasks:

You are responsible for following up with our service technicians.
You ensure efficient service delivery. Your goal is to ensure that our team strives for "first time fix," solving technical problems in one visit. You will work closely with the service team to achieve this goal;
Maintaining strict adherence to agreements and safety standards is a priority. You will ensure that the team adheres to agreed upon procedures and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment;
You will be responsible for managing vacation schedules and leave requests of the service team to ensure that operational continuity is maintained; You will maintain hourly records and analyze reports to ensure that all operational objectives are met;
You will oversee the availability of proper materials and tools for the technicians. Ensure that they have all necessary resources to successfully perform their jobs.

Job requirements

Experience within the HVAC industry (heat pumps, heating technology)
Demonstrated experience managing service engineers
Strong people skills are essential;
You must be able to effectively communicate with, motivate and guide our service technicians;
A solid technical background is required as you will be dealing with a technical team. This background will help you to better understand and lead the technical aspects of service delivery;
You speak both Dutch and French fluently;
