Job description:


As Restaurant General Manager, you are ultimately responsible for a team of around employees, coordinating the daily operations, maximising the restaurant's profitability and, above all, guest satisfaction.

You are a real hands-on manager with an entrepreneurial spirit who knows how to translate key policy into practical implementation in the workplace.

In addition, you are responsible for developing the annual plans and continuously identifying and addressing opportunities for improvement in order to increase the professionalism at KFC.

And don't forget to keep a close eye on the competition so you can respond accordingly.

Within KFC, the core duties of a Restaurant General Manager are defined by our guest satisfaction programme abbreviated as CHAMPS:

  • Cleanliness: You make sure the restaurant always looks clean and tidy;
  • Hospitality: The guest experience is always paramount;
  • Accuracy: You ensure that all procedures are carried out accurately;
  • Maintenance: You ensure a wellmaintained restaurant;
  • Product Quality: You provide fresh, hot products, at all times
  • Speed of Service: Every guest receives a fast and friendly service.
  • You exude selfconfidence and can effectively handle different situations;
  • You look at your restaurant through the eyes of the guest;
  • You are a true people manager with good leadership skills;
    Job requirements:
  • To successfully run your restaurant, you have at least:
  • Five years' experience as a manager with ultimate responsibility or as a self-employed entrepreneur in the hospitality and/or retail industry;
  • You work and think at least at bachelor degree level;
  • Good oral and written communication skills;
  • You are willing to work weekends, evenings and public holidays;
  • You have a good numerical understanding, experience with cost control and know how to manage these aspects accordingly
  • Leadership skills;
  • You are a real people manager who is there for his employees;
