ROLE:
Procurement Manager


As Procurement Manager you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective sourcing of materials, equipment, and services necessary for the research and development activities of iTeos Therapeutics.


You will collaborate with internal stakeholders from R&D and G&A functions to define sourcing priorities and support them with the execution, ensuring optimized spending and service satisfaction.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic sourcing
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies.
  • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with key suppliers.
  • Handle full RFI / RFP / RFQ processes.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to secure favourable agreements while maintaining quality standards.
  • Supplier and contract management
  • Manage relationships with existing suppliers and evaluate performance.
  • Continuous monitoring of existing contract to track renewal and termination.
  • Cost management
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders from Belgium and US to implement costsaving initiatives and identify opportunities for sourcing optimization.
  • Analyse market trends and pricing to identify opportunities.
  • Collaboration and compliance
  • Work closely with R&D and G&A functional teams to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
  • Facilitate communication between functions and Finance to ensure seamless and compliant procurement processes.
  • Monitor the adequate usage of procurement systems and tools within our ERP system (NetSuite) while training and coaching your colleagues on its usage.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in business administration, Science, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, or similar relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Min. 2 years of experience as a Procurement Manager in the life science industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a track record of successful contract negotiations.
  • Good knowledge of procurement best practices and ability to implement those with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • You are fluent in English and any other national language is a plus (preferably French or Dutch).
  • A positive and cando attitude, coupled with great interpersonal skills to successfully collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
