Global Operations is our specialty practice that manages our Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR) outsourcing engagements.

The team is based in Brussels (primarily Diegem office, alternated with working remotely) and is supported by a dedicated team in EY's Global Delivery Services centre based in India.

In Diegem, our Global Compliance & Reporting practice consists of a team of 15 people, with a hands-on mentality, a positive attitude, a good sense of humor and a focus on achieving our objectives as a team.

The opportunity - _What future are you building towards?_**We provide end-to-end compliance management across multiple countries on behalf of our clients, ranging from bookkeeping to statutory reporting to tax reporting and filing. These clients are multinational companies with (regional) headquarters in Belgium. Working together with the client and different EY specialist teams, we identify process improvements and technology solutions to make their compliance processes more efficient and provide more insight into their overall compliance and tax position. We put them in control of their compliance with an efficient coordination and delivery model. We manage their global compliance footprint so they don't have to.

As a project manager in the Global Operations' team you will be client facing from day one. This means you will be immediately introduced to multiple clients and trained to coordinate your own projects. The goal is to manage these accounts independently in the long run. It's a dynamic role with a lot of responsibilities.

Responsibilities - _How can you make a lasting impact in a rapidly changing world?_**- Liaise with global EY colleagues involved in the client's compliance and/or reporting processes.

Coordinating compliance processes, monitoring deadlines and identifying bottlenecks.
Acting as single point of contact for your client in daytoday service delivery.
Managing and coordinating with our Global Delivery Services team in India.
Assisting with the transition of compliance work to EY when we win new assignments developing and following detailed transition plans, working with client teams to facilitate and monitor smooth handovers.
Setting up supporting technology solutions, such as workflow tools and reporting dashboards.
Strong organizational skills being able to manage a variety of tasks simultaneously and having the ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines.
Be a team player we need someone who is outgoing and handson with good communications skills and whois committed and keen to build new relationships within EY's GCR network.

Job requirements - _Where do you start if you want to change the world?_**- You have a Bachelors and/or Master's degree (if this would be in Finance, Accounting or Tax this is a plus)

You have an interest in project management and strong organizational skills
You enjoy working in a process driven finance, accounting, tax and compliance environment.
You have preferably 2 years of experience in a project management role
You have strong Dutch or French and English language capabilities both written and verbal communication.
You have good skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Powerpoint
You are interested in automation, technology and tools

- and knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
