We are looking for

  • An Ethics and Compliance Project Manager to join our General Counsel team

We count on you to

  • Ensure a culture of ethics & compliance throughout the company
  • Identify, monitor, and formulate proposals to manage and mitigate ethics & compliance risks, report on patterns and trends, and work together with the Ethics and compliance team and other departments such as Audit and risk or Legal to identify root causes and make proposals for action plans and guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future
  • Implement Group policies and internal standards to ensure our operations are compliant with the Code of Business Integrity and Ethics & Compliance policies, stakeholders' expectations, regulatory requirements, and Solvay's values and culture of integrity
  • Develop, improve, and oversee the effective deployment of crossfunctional operational procedures and processes to ensure operations compliance. This will include reviewing and revising Group compliance procedures and templates currently in place, identifying potential gaps, and taking appropriate steps to improve the overall effectiveness of procedures and processes
  • Ensure that applicable procedures and processes are adequate, comprehensive, robust, current, and reflect the Company's evolving business environment, policies and risks;
  • Ensure that compliance efforts are appropriately documented and monitored
  • Develop, improve, and implement a comprehensive educational and training program that focuses on the relevant ethics & compliance processes and procedures;
  • Lead global Ethics and Compliance operational projects to ensure compliance operations
  • Build engagement and trust in the organization and work closely with the Ethics and Compliance team, and the relevant business entities, providing support and expertise and ensuring that the Ethics & Compliance program is endorsed and supported by middle management
  • Follow up on best practices and regulatory requirements regarding compliance and business ethics, benchmark with current practices, and make proposals for amendments when necessary
  • Develop thirdparty oversight at Solvay and implement processes, procedures, and best practices accordingly to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to third parties

You will bring
Education and experience- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Ethics and Compliance Experienced with Ethics and Compliance Requirements Experienced with Business Processes Experienced with laws and regulations related to compliance and business ethicsTechnical skills

  • Fluency in English is mandatory. Any other language is a plus
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent is a plus
