Role: Back-End Developer

Scope: As a back-end developer at StoryChief, you will bring new features and tools to life while helping us improve existing ones. The ultimate goal is to facilitate our customers in writing and spreading their stories. You will do so by working closely with our front-end developers. You will review and have your code reviewed to ensure we write maintainable and readable code as a team. As a small team, every line of code will greatly impact StoryChief and our users. You'll have the autonomy to do your best work and plenty of support along the way.

What do we expect from you:

At least 2 years of experience in Laravel, PHP MySQL
Excellent problemsolving skills and strong attention to detail
You have a solid understanding of web technologies and API development.
You care about performance and security.
You speak and write English fluently.

The ultimate goal is to facilitate our customers in writing and spreading their stories. You will do so by working closely with the development team. Our development team makes use of industry-standard best practices.

So you will review and have your code reviewed to ensure we write maintainable and readable code as a team.
