We are on the lookout for a Talented Senior Software Developer specialized in Mainframe BS2000 Assembler. If you have a knack for software integration and excel at bridging server software with client applications, this role presents an exciting challenge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Mainframe BS2000 Assembler programming and maintain expertise in C programming for the development, testing, and upkeep of critical software applications.
• Investigate and resolve software defects to ensure the delivery of high-quality, resilient software solutions.
• Analyze and optimize existing BS2000 Assembler code to enhance performance, efficiency, and reliability.
• Create and update comprehensive technical documentation for all software development tasks, including design specifications, code documentation, and testing procedures.
• Engage in software development processes following lean and agile principles.

Requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrate proven experience as a Senior Software Developer, showcasing expertise in Mainframe BS2000 Assembler programming.
• Possess deep knowledge of mainframe architecture, software development life cycle, and system integration.
• Familiarity with C/C++, and preferably Adabas / Natural, is advantageous.
• Proficiency in JCL and understanding of network communications like TCP/IP.
• Experience with integration platforms and middleware solutions is highly valued.
• Exhibit a passion for crafting elegant, testable, and maintainable code, along with an openness to adopting new technologies and methodologies.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to troubleshoot complex software issues.
