Luminus is dedicated to helping its clients reduce their environmental impact by offering innovative energy-saving options and renewable energy sources. The legal managers at Luminus play a pivotal role in supporting the company's strategy by offering practical legal guidance.

Luminus is currently seeking a Legal Manager to join its Retail team (responsible for selling energy and related services to end users).

This position offers a unique opportunity to witness the ongoing energy shift firsthand within a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities:

Providing proactive legal assistance to the Retail department concerning energy supply operations and innovative services.
Offering concise and actionable advice to operational teams and management, aiding in the swift implementation of evolving regulations.
Drafting contracts, terms, and assisting in negotiations with partners.
Handling potential disputes, complaints from authorities, and regulatory matters.
Collaborating with external legal advisors.
Working closely with other Legal Managers, organizing internal legal training, and contributing to standardization efforts.

Requirements:

Holds a Master's degree in Law.
Minimum of 5 years experience in-house or in a business law firm.
Strong knowledge of contract law, energy regulations, consumer rights, and GDPR.
Genuine interest in the energy sector and transition.
Flexible, eager to learn, and commercially minded.
Organized, stress-resistant, and enthusiastic.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish trust with internal stakeholders.
Capable of explaining complex information clearly.
Independent worker, efficient task prioritization, and decision-making.
Effective team player with collaborative skills.
Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
