    As a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect (SA), you will collaborate with existing clients, potential customers, and partners to design solutions utilizing Software AG's capabilities. Your scope will encompass Integration & API (webMethods & ) as well as Data Integration (StreamSets).

    The Solutions Architect demonstrates a high degree of consulting expertise, hands-on technical proficiency, works independently in pre-sales initiatives, and possesses the ability to effectively address customer challenges while confidently presenting solutions.

    You will serve as a reliable advisor to current clients, prospects, and partners through interactive sessions held in our regional labs, meetups, conferences, and meetings.

    Key Responsibilities

    Prospect Qualification: Assist in vetting prospects to ensure alignment with the capabilities of the Super iPaaS solution.

    Presales Lifecycle Management: Offer top-notch, business-oriented, and technical assistance to the sales and pre-sales team to ensure that the sales campaign aligns closely with the prospect's business objectives throughout the sales process.

    Account Management: Take ownership of key accounts from both a technical and, to some extent, a business perspective, identifying ongoing opportunities and guiding business users in the implementation of complex business solutions.

    Essential Job Functions

    Customer and Prospect Interaction

    • Drive and advance opportunities through the various stages of the sales cycle, paying close attention to timelines.
    • Address the functional and business requirements as well as capabilities sections of RFI/RFPs
    • Engage with the sales team and prospects to analyze business needs and develop, validate, and present the most suitable solution.
    • Lead teams of Systems Engineers in defining and executing POC/POV's and personalized demonstrations to fulfill prospects' requirements and emphasize our unique capabilities.
    • Establish trustworthy relationships with customers and prospects, comprehending their objectives through participation in meetings and conferences.

    Internal Collaboration

    • Work in conjunction with Product Management to generate early-phase materials highlighting Software AG's capabilities (presentations, white papers, success stories, marketing content).
    • Maintain alignment with Marketing and Product Management to contribute to current and future platform capabilities, fostering product innovation.
    • Offer guidance to internal senior management on technical and business strategies within ongoing deals.
    • Collect and convey competitive intelligence obtained from the field.
    • Act as a primary source of competitive information regarding Products and Verticals.
    • Mentor Solution Architects and Sales Engineers in technical and business scenarios to enhance their ability to handle objections and customer challenges.

    Requirements:

    • Extensive Experience in integrating a wide array of applications & SaaS solutions (e.g., ERP, CRM, Salesforce, Adobe, SAP, ServiceNow, Snowflake).
    • Minimum of 4 years in practical architecture and design involving Integration, B2B & API technologies.
    • Familiarity with integration frameworks like open-source products (e.g., Apache products, Camel, ActiveMQ, Kafka).
    • Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, , Python, R, Swift, .NET) and understanding of J2EE.
    • Hands-on experience with Business Infrastructure concepts and technologies (API, SOA, Microservices, ESB, SOAP/REST, Docker, Kubernetes, VMWare, Azure, GCP, AWS)
    • Solid knowledge of application and solution design and implementation, testing, CI/CD, DevOps, integration patterns, architectural practices and principles, networks, and infrastructure concepts.
    • Over 3 years in a Consulting management role encompassing business development, mentoring, technology solutions development, and relationship management.
    • Understanding of business application landscapes, cloud architectures, and distributed computing.
    • Proven track record in managing multiple customers/opportunities and collaborating with senior leaders (CxO & Director level) on various solutions and business challenges, driving them to successful closure within set deadlines.
    • Effective at comprehending and analyzing a prospect's needs and delivering a compelling business value proposition for a solution.
    • Proficiency in developing and delivering clear and concise product briefings.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead Discovery and Customer First Assessment Meetings to identify business value and ROI for complex business challenges.
    • Expertise in offering best practices to customers and aiding with IT Strategy and implementation planning – capacity, servers, deployment, etc.
    • Fluent in English and French/Flemish languages.

    Nice to have:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, Informatics, Mathematics, Engineering.
    • Familiarity with integration solutions from other vendors (e.g., IBM webSphere, Mulesoft, WS2O, Boomi, Azure LogicApps, Tibco, Oracle Middleware, Biztalk).
