Medical Advisor Cardiorenal BNL

The Medical/Scientific Advisor BNL acts as the primary scientific expert in the Therapeutic Area proactively providing training, scientific advice and strategic input to internal and external stakeholders as well as the scientific community.

This position has a BNL scope and will be based in Diegem.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Member of internal Nucleus. Responsible for collaborating, aligning medical objectives and priorities in alignment with Nucleus strategy.
Accountable for driving the localization of the global medical and brand strategy.
Responsible and accountable for using crossfunctional knowledge to create medical multichannel campaigns.
Accountable for driving a strategic partnership with local crossfunctional teams in collaboration with Therapeutic Area Head.
Also for aligning evidence generation with medical and brand strategy.
Reviewing and interpreting analytics and relevant field insights to optimize and manage medical content and adapt the evidence generation plan (e.g., in National Advisory boards).
Accountable for fostering Medical Affairs relationships with Thought Leaders and external stakeholder groups.
Lead medical advisory boards.
Accountable for providing scient medical educational programs.
Provide medical support on internal projects.
Proactively ensure that Bayer medical activities are in line with relevant guidelines, regulations and legislations.
Responsible for providing scientific education and training to crossfunctional partners, scientifically reviewing and approving all therapeutic area/product related materials.
External communications, documenting and processing medical Information queries (including OOH duty) in alignment with local Medical Information handling procedures.
Advising crossfunctionally using medical/scientific expertise.

WHO YOU ARE

University Degree in Life Sciences (Medicine, Pharmaceutical or biomedical sciences).
At least 8 years of relevant working experience in pharmaceuticals.
Understanding of the pharma code of the country.
Experience in driving and managing the medical strategy for various brands in the pharmaceutical industry.
Clinical research and trial management experience and be able to interact authoritatively with key stakeholders and investigators.
Strong skills in managing stakeholders and experienced in building networks.
Business Acumen displaying ability to operate crossfunctionally, driving organizational growth, understanding of marketing/sales functions in pharma industry.
Desirable experience contributing to an organization's strategic endeavors, displaying industry/market knowledge.
Well organized and autonomous.
Fluent in Dutch, French, English, as well as intercultural skills
