For the expansion of our lab team, argenx is looking for a temporary lab technician (part-time 80%).


Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
The position will have amongst others the following key responsibilities:

  • In close collaboration with your team members and the lab responsibles you will run the media kitchen or similar operational tasks-
  • Make all buffers and mixtures needed in the lab.-
  • Cleaning and sterilizing glasswork.-
  • Perform basic experimental work.-
  • Co-responsible for material orders and follow up.-
  • Co-responsible for equipment preparation and maintenance

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Can work reliably, autonomously and accurately.
  • Strong sense for quality and proper housekeeping.
  • Can plan and execute a routine job without continuous supervision.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Good communication skills with basic writing and speaking skills in English.
  • Experience with administrative tasks
  • Good knowledge of office software (MSWord, MSExcel)
  • Higher secondary technical degree or equivalent, by preference chemistry oriented
